The Framo LiftUP Back-to-Barge System is Norway’s leading solution for handling dead fish, currently in operation at a significant number of aquaculture facilities. This proven, optimized system is tailored to meet the specific needs of fish farmers.
Additional Equipment
- Permanent underwater camera for the LiftUP collection unit, ensuring visual control during pumping, installation, treatment, and daily inspections.
- Camera mounted on the silk box to record the number, size, and images of dead fish for detailed cause-of-death analysis.
- Timers and remote controls for improved operational efficiency.
Installation
- For a 10-ring system: 4 days of welding at the quay before towing to the site.
- 5 days of on-site installation and 1 day for a final inspection.
- The customer is responsible for towing the system from the quay to the farming site.
Requirements
- 8-inch LiftUP pumps with a ballast weight of 600 kg or more.
- Compressor delivering 2.5–3.5 m³/min @ 10 bar.
- PE elbows to be installed over the cage railings.
